Christiane Erard was born in La-Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland). After the School Art of this city and an apprenticeship with Rémy Pellaton, she follows a varied path through Berlin, Cologne, Milan. From 1976 to 1986, the artist lives in Mexico with her family where she teaches drawing and realizes wooden wall works.
Back in Europe, she settles in Brussels. Since 1992 she learns the basics of the sculptor out of stone, the work of clay and technical glass, while participating in numerous exhibitions in Belgium and a major international exhibition she'll present in Paris , Wuppenthal, Venice, Milan, Avignon ...
